To help teams travel from the U.S.A to link arms with churches in Haiti to see salvation, discipleship, and sustainable living occur in Haiti.
One Foot Raised connects the Haitian and American church in a Gospel centered partnership that serve to strengthen the local community.
One Foot Raised began as a nonprofit in September 2016, but the leadership has been in Haiti serving for 8 years. Through the adoption process in Haiti of our two youngest children, we saw with our own eyes the need and strength of the Haitian people. We began leading teams to Haiti in 2008, and have taken trips several times each year. We knew that God had broken our heart for Haiti, and we began asking how we were to be involved. Through our travels in Haiti, we knew that God wants to use the local church to make a difference in each community. We began interviewing pastors and vetting them to find pastors who were passionate about the Lord, salvation for their community, and discipleship within. We would then pray to have a church in the United States that would want to partner with them and see spiritual and physical transformation take place in their communities. It has been amazing to watch how God provides and continues to call believers into obedience and service in Haiti.
